Vocation Route

Four lanes, twelve live vocations	Mist of Death still starts with the four classic lanes, but the server runs two promotion tiers for each path: Sorcerer -> Master Sorcerer -> Warlock, Druid -> Elder Druid -> Elemental Druid, Paladin -> Royal Paladin -> Marksman, and Knight -> Elite Knight -> Heroic Knight.
What this page answers	Use this guide when you want the practical difference between vocations: role, stat lean, promotion chain, weapon lane, spell lane, and what kind of early route fits your first sessions.
After you pick	Move next to Start Here, filter the exact spell list on Spells, and keep Commands open for the Mist of Death systems that shape your first hour.

Which Vocation Fits You

Line	Pick This If...	Weapon Style	Next Step
Sorcerer Sorcerer -> Master Sorcerer -> Warlock	Pick this if you want wave damage, rune pressure, and a glass-cannon lane that clears from range.	Sorcerer-only wands plus the shared mage staff and sceptre ladder.	Open Sorcerer / Master Sorcerer / Warlock and use `!spots` after you decide on the lane.
Druid Druid -> Elder Druid -> Elemental Druid	Pick this if you want mage pacing with stronger utility, party value, and terrain control.	Druid-only rods plus the shared mage staff and sceptre ladder.	Open Druid / Elder Druid / Elemental Druid and use `!spots` after you decide on the lane.
Paladin Paladin -> Royal Paladin -> Marksman	Pick this if you want a smoother returner route, ranged safety, and weapon progression built around arrows, bolts, and holy pressure.	Paladin-only bows and crossbows, backed by bolt, arrow, and spear economy.	Open Paladin / Royal Paladin / Marksman and use `!spots` after you decide on the lane.
Knight Knight -> Elite Knight -> Heroic Knight	Pick this if you want the most direct brawling lane, large carry weight, and the widest pool of vocation-locked melee weapons.	Knight-focused melee gear across broad sword, axe, and club paths, plus the heavier front-line equipment.	Open Knight / Elite Knight / Heroic Knight and use `!spots` after you decide on the lane.

Combat Rhythm and Spell Chains

Line How To Chain Spells

Sorcerer

Use Warlord Teleport as a secondary setup burst, then follow with one combat spell while that secondary timer recovers. Energy Ball Strike keeps pressure moving between bigger casts. Save Mighty Clean for a real commitment moment instead of using it like a normal filler.

Timing rule: Combat lane means the normal old attack-spell exhaustion. Secondary lane is a separate combo exhaustion used by setup or finisher spells, so a secondary spell can pair with one combat spell. Combat spells still do not stack with each other, so choose one burst window.

No rebirth combo
Use Warlord Teleport as the secondary setup, then spend the normal combat lane on Dragon Bone or Energy Ball Strike.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Energy Ball Strike `exeva lat` Level 700 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 2s Fast pressure between bigger casts.	3,050
Warlord Teleport `exevo mort vis` Level 450 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 6s Secondary setup burst before one combat follow-up.	3,000
Dragon Bone `exevo flam mort` Level 650 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 2s Fire/death burst after monsters group safely.	3,000

Rebirth combo
Keep Warlord Teleport as the setup, then choose one expensive rebirth combat spell. Do not try to cycle every burst at once.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Warlord Teleport `exevo mort vis` Level 450 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 6s Secondary setup burst before one combat follow-up.	3,000
Strong Energy Ball Strike `exeva gran lat` Rebirth 4 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 5s Expensive burst, not a filler.	2,800
Mighty Clean `potens tergo` Rebirth 10 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 8s Commitment finisher for a real danger moment.	3,400

Druid

Control first, then damage. Use Root Snare to slow the dangerous target, follow with Glacial Bloom or Ground Shake for tactical ice/earth pressure, and keep healing/party tools ready while the stronger control spells recover.

Use Root Snare as the secondary control spell, then follow with one normal combat spell while the target is slowed.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Root Snare `terra laqueus` Level 450 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 8s Open on the dangerous monster; this is control, not spam.	2,200
Glacial Bloom `exevo frigo vita` Level 650 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 5s Ice burst after root/control gives space.	3,200

Rebirth combo
Root first, then use the rebirth earth/plant spell that fits your position. These damage spells share combat timing, so choose one window.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Root Snare `terra laqueus` Level 450 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 8s Open on the dangerous monster; this is control, not spam.	2,200
Ground Shake `terra casso` Rebirth 2 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 6s Earth pressure when monsters are close enough to punish.	1,500
Frozen Plant Wave `terra hur` Rebirth 3 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 4s Directional control damage; aim it manually.	2,000
Hungry Plants `vorax terra` Rebirth 10 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 8s Big nature commitment after the fight is stable.	3,400

Paladin

Pick the target first. Use Radiant Mark or Great Holy Missile on priority monsters, kite while ranged attacks and holy pressure work, then use Spinning Lights, Fallen Holy Globes, or Wisdom Bomb when monsters line up instead of standing still for mage-style clearing.

Use Radiant Mark as the secondary setup on the priority monster, then kite with one combat follow-up.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Radiant Mark `exori san signo` Level 350 - Secondary lane (separate combo exhaustion), 6s Mark the priority target before committing.	800
Wyrm Energy `exevo vis wyrm` Level 350 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 2s No-rebirth combat follow-up while you kite.	1,000

Rebirth combo
Mark first, then use one rebirth holy combat spell based on monster line-up. The holy bursts share combat timing.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Radiant Mark `exori san signo` Level 350 - Secondary lane (separate combo exhaustion), 6s Mark the priority target before committing.	800
Great Holy Missile `exori gran hur san` Rebirth 1 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 2s Ranged holy pressure while kiting.	500
Spinning Lights `exevo gran mas san` Rebirth 2 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 3s Moderate AoE when monsters line up.	800
Fallen Holy Globes `exevo san lapsus` Rebirth 3 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 4s Bigger holy burst with positioning.	1,000
Wisdom Bomb `sophia` Rebirth 10 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 6s Late commitment spell, not mage-style clearing.	1,800

Knight

Walk in deliberately, keep monsters close, and rotate cleave/filler pressure before spending the bigger buttons. Use Ultimate Berserk or Wrath when the pack is committed to you, and use Execute only when a dangerous target is low enough to finish.

Use one melee combat hit, then Execute as the secondary finisher only when the target is low.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Knight Strike `exeva haur` Level 700 - Secondary lane (separate combo exhaustion), 2s Cheap close pressure while weapons do work.	1,050
Ultimate Berserk `exori gran mas hur` Level 750 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 5s Main melee burst when the pack is on you.	1,800
Execute `faciat` Level 550 - Secondary lane (separate combo exhaustion), 8s Finish a low dangerous target at close range.	1,500

Rebirth combo
Use the rebirth melee spell as the combat hit, then Execute if a dangerous target survives low enough.

Spell, Words, Timing, and Use	Mana
Execute `faciat` Level 550 - Secondary lane (separate combo exhaustion), 8s Finish a low dangerous target at close range.	1,500
Wrath `ira mort` Rebirth 2 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 3s Physical burst after you commit in melee.	500
Close Jab `fodio` Rebirth 10 - Combat lane (normal attack-spell exhaustion), 6s Late close-range commitment.	1,200

After You Choose

Need a first route?	After you pick your lane, use `!spots` in game for level-based hunting routes. The command matters more once you know whether you are walking in as a melee front-liner, a distance kiter, or a mage.
Need the Mist of Death systems?	Open Start Here for tasks, boosts, events, augmentation, and the returner route that sits on top of your vocation choice.
Need exact spell requirements?	Use the filtered Spells page for your current vocation tier, because promotion-only unlocks do not always show on the base vocation filter.
Still setting up?	Go back to Downloads if you still need the client, or Mac Guide if you are playing through the OTClient macOS route.
