1. Names

a) Names must not contain insulting, racist, extremist, sexist, or otherwise offensive language.

b) Names must not be nonsensical letter spam, sentence fragments, or badly formatted impersonation-style names.

c) Names must not impersonate staff, other players, public figures, or real-world institutions.

2. Cheating

a) Bug abuse is forbidden. If you find a bug, report it to the Mistofdeath staff instead of using it for gain.

b) Blocking gameplay through map abuse, stacked objects, or similar intentional exploits is forbidden.

c) Macros, bots, unattended automation, modified clients, packet tools, and similar software are forbidden.

d) Account theft, phishing, password sharing, selling accounts, and using another player's account without permission are forbidden.

e) Multi-clienting is not allowed unless Mistofdeath staff explicitly announce an exception for a specific event.

3. Staff and Reports

a) Do not impersonate staff or claim you can influence staff decisions.

b) Do not threaten, harass, or intentionally mislead staff during investigations.

c) Use the website support/report options or in-game report tools for rule violations, scams, bugs, and abuse.

4. PvP and Fair Play

a) Open PvP is part of Mistofdeath, but organized abuse, trap exploitation, and repeated rule-breaking behavior are still punishable.

b) Killing skulled targets does not exempt other separate rule violations.

5. Punishments

Punishments can include deletions of items or progress, temporary bans, character removal, or full account removal without compensation. Staff decisions are based on the evidence, the impact of the offense, and the player's prior record.

6. Changes

Mistofdeath may update these rules whenever the server needs it. The website rules page is the current source of truth.
